Which NESTLÉ® NIDO® products contain a serving scoop ?

  • NESTLÉ® NIDO® 3+ does not contain a serving scoop. A tablespoon can be used to measure each serving

What is the difference between the NESTLÉ® NIDO® products ?

  • NESTLÉ® NIDO® 1+ is for toddlers aged 1-3 years. Please consult with your healthcare professional regarding the nutritional needs for children younger than 3 years
  • NESTLÉ® NIDO® 3+ is for little ones aged 3-5 years. It is tailored-made to meet the specific nutritional requirements of preschool children.
    • Source of Vitamin A, Zinc and Iron which are some of the nutrients that most South African little children lack.
    • Source of Immuno-nutrients such as Zinc, Vitamins A, C, D, E and lactic acid-producing bacteria, Lactobacillus Protectus (L. rhamnosus), help support normal functioning of their immune system.

What are prebiotics and probiotics ?

How do I prepare a single serving glass of a NESTLÉ® NIDO® 3+ product ?

  • NESTLÉ® NIDO® 3+: Wash your hands before preparation. Use boiled water & clean utensils for preparation. Add 3x tablespoons (36g) of powder to 225 ml (1 glass) boiled, cooled water. Stir until powder is fully dissolved. Dry the scoop/ spoon before introducing into the can.

How can I prevent the NESTLÉ® NIDO® powder from clumping ?

  • To prevent clumping, ensure that the provided scoop or utensil is dry before scooping the NESTLÉ® NIDO® powder. When preparing, make sure to always add NESTLÉ® NIDO® powder to water, not the reverse.

Is NESTLÉ® NIDO® powdered milk drink a baby formula ?

  • No, NESTLÉ® NIDO® powdered milk beverage is not a baby formula. NESTLÉ® NIDO® products are only intended for children ages 1 year and older.
  • The World Health Organisation (WHO) recommends exclusive breastfeeding during the first 6 months of life and continued breastfeeding for as long as possible. Growing up milks are formulated to meet nutrition needs of healthy young children older than 1 year and should not be fed to infants.
